SUMMER CAMP EXPECTATIONS & POLICIES
Camp Cohorts Available for Registration!
TBGA will be offering full week half day camps in Cohorts. Each cohort consists of the same participants and coach throughout the entire week. Anyone can register pending they are able to follow our Camp Physical Distancing protocols! If you are registering multiple family members, all members will be registered into the same time slot as Cohorts should consist of family members or friends that are already a part of the same social distancing bubbles. That being said, at this time carpooling is discouraged.
Our current cohort ratio is 1 Coach to every 6 Participants and is subject to change as new policies are released. Every week you can register for a specific cohort either in person or over the phone. A Camp will only run if the cohort is full. If the cohort is not full, the cohort will be cancelled and refunded. You can only register for both an AM and a PM cohort in the same week if all of the same participants are registering together. However, please note that at this point in time, TBGA will not be offering child care over the lunch breaks.
4 Cohorts will be offered each week:
Cohort 1 – Monday to Friday 8:30am-11:30pm
Cohort 2 – Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm
Cohort 3 – Monday to Friday 12:30pm-3:30pm
Cohort 4 – Monday to Friday 1:00pm-4:00pm
What to expect in a Camp?
Each Cohort will travel to each event daily. This includes: Warmup (Physical Distancing Games & a Stretch), Floor & Double Mini Trampoline, Full Size Trampolines & Beam, Bars, Crafts, and Vault. Every child will have their own station and rotate to each one to complete a series of fun challenges and skills. Cleaning and Hand washing will be done between rotations and the gym will be fogged between the morning and afternoon cohorts and at the end of the day.
Camp Physical Distancing Compliance
All participants must be able to work independently and follow physical distancing protocol which includes but is not exclusive to:
What to bring?
Every participant will be assigned a bin at the beginning of the week to keep all of their items, this will include their extra clothing, water bottle, trampoline socks, their shoes and their personal craft supplies. If you do not have trampoline socks, any tight-fitting socks with either puff paint or hot glue dots/lines all across the bottom will suffice.
Participants are required to wear tight-fitting clothing (gymnastics suit, exercise apparel, tights and/or tank top, etc.). If their hair is long, it is required to be pulled back into a ponytail or braids prior to arrival. The use to barrettes/clips is encouraged to keep hair out of their face and therefore their hands away from their face.
PPE
As physical distancing lines will keep athletes 6 ft apart at all time, masks are not required or recommended for participants as they can get impair vision during skill performance. All Staff will be wearing face masks as they are not always able to maintain 6 ft of physical distancing as they navigate between participants and provide instruction.
Gloves are not allowed to be worn by participants as they pose a safety hazard.
Entrances/Exit
There is a separate entrance for drop off and a separate exit for pick up. Entrance is at the main doors in the front of the building. Exit is near the garage door by the Country Market.
There will be markers at both locations indicated by either pylons or arrows to help families keep 6 ft apart. 1 parent per participant will be allowed to enter the building for drop off.
Each family will be greeted at the door to confirm attendance/self-assessment check. Then each participant will be given their bin, enter the building, wash their hands and wait for next steps from their instructor. The parent/guardian will then follow the pathway out of the lobby towards the parking lot.
Upon pick up, athletes will pick up their items from their bins, wash their hands and exit the building one at a time when their parent/guardian has arrived.
Mandatory Daily Self-Assessment Checks
All families will be required to complete a self-assessment check on all family members regardless if they are participating in the programming prior to their arrival. This includes:
Taking temperature to check for fever and checking for any of the following symptoms:
If anyone in the household is experiencing any of these symptoms it is recommended that the family isolates for 14 days or until the symptoms subside AND the individual has received a negative COVID-19 test result.
Self-Assessment Confirmation Checks will be completed upon arrival from the facility. If it is found that there are symptoms present for the participant or a household member, the participant will be sent home, the registration cancelled and payment refunded to allow the family to isolate immediately and obtain testing.
Waivers
In order to participate in any of our programming, participants/guardians must sign the updated Waiver and Declaration of Compliance forms, stating that you understand the risks and will comply with our policies and government recommendations.
