Competitive Program

We currently have 54 Elite athletes of both girls and boys. Our fantastic competitive coaches aid in the growth and development of our young athletes. We strive to guide athletes to reach their fullest potential in a safe, fun, and conflict-free environment. We currently have four streams of our Elite Team program (see below). 
Our competitive program always puts your child first. Your athlete will never be judged, forced to miss school, or do something they're uncomfortable with. 

TBGA is a member of the City of Thunder Bay's RESPECT Campaign. 
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards abuse & bullying.

Women's Competitive

Our Competitive Athletes range from ages from 9 to 16, Levels Xcel Silver to Junior Olympic Level 8.​ They train 9-12 hours a week and attend 3 competitions per year. 

Developmental & Pre-Competitive

Our Developmental and Pre-Competitive Programming focuses on developing basics and proper form to prepare them for the competitive stream. ​Our Developmental Team are ages 4-6 and train 4 to 8 hours a week (4/6 hours/week July-Dec, 6/8 hours/week Jan-June).  Our Pre-Competitive Teams both Boys & Girls are ages 7 to 10 and train 9 hours a week.

Men's Competitive

Our Men's Competitive program is the only one of its kind in Northwestern Ontario! Our competitive boys are aged 10 to 14, train 12 hours a week, and attend 3 competitions per year!

MASTERS TEAM

Our Masters team comprises of athletes ages 14+ who love the sport, and competing however with schooling and other activities are unable to commit to 12 hours per week. Athletes are welcome to specialize in events and will compete at one competition at the end of the year.
